Mass Save Rebate for Windows

Mass Save offers a $75 rebate per window when you upgrade single-pane windows to ENERGY STAR® Most Efficient certified windows. This incentive helps offset the cost of installing modern, energy-efficient windows that meet the highest standards for performance.

How to Qualify for the Rebate

There are three ways to take advantage of energy savings:

Home Energy Assessment

Schedule a No-Cost Home Energy Assessment or Virtual Special Home Visit to verify your existing windows and energy usage.

Choose ENERGY STAR Certified Windows

Select windows from the Mass Save Window Qualifying Products List to ensure eligibility.

Purchase and Install

Complete the installation of approved windows within two years of the assessment.

Weatherization Requirements

Implement recommended insulation and air sealing upgrades to maximize efficiency.

Submit Your Rebate

Apply online through the Mass Save Rebate Portal or by mail with proof of purchase and verification documents.

Eligibility Requirements

Must be a Massachusetts residential gas or electric customer served by Berkshire Gas, Cape Light Compact, Eversource, Liberty, National Grid, or Unitil
Existing windows must be single-pane and verified prior to replacement.
Rebates are available for purchases made between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2025.
Applications must be submitted by January 31, 2026.

Financing Options: 0% HEAT Loan

Qualifying homeowners can also take advantage of the 0% interest HEAT Loan, offering up to $25,000 for energy efficiency upgrades, including window replacements. This financing option makes it even more affordable to improve your home’s energy performance.
