How to Get Started

There are three ways to take advantage of energy savings:

Schedule a No-Cost Home Energy Assessment

An Energy Specialist will assess your home’s current energy use and recommend improvements like insulation and air sealing upgrades.

Choose a Home Performance Contractor

Select a participating contractor to conduct your no-cost energy assessment and complete recommended insulation and air sealing work.

Direct Incentives

If you already know you need insulation and/or air sealing improvements, you can work with an Independent Weatherization Installation Contractor to plan your project and access incentives directly—no prior assessment required.

Eligibility

Customers must live in a 1-4 unit home.
Eligibility for certain rebates and incentives is based on the results of the Home Energy Assessment,
Additional restrictions may apply, and offers are subject to change or cancellation.
Financing is subject to approval by a participating lender.
Additional offers are available for renters, landlords of 1-4 unit properties, and owners of multifamily buildings with 5 or more units.

Mass Save sponsors offer 0% interest HEAT Loans to make energy-efficient upgrades more accessible to Massachusetts residents. Through this loan, you may qualify for financing up to $50,000 for eligible home improvements.
